Guided by the Internet Society of China (ISC), the Workshop on Digital Economy Enterprises Supporting Rural Vitalization was organized by the Co-sharing Economy Working Committee of ISC in Beijing on Dec 23.

"The new generation of information technology is increasingly empowering the entire chain of agricultural and rural development, and is profoundly changing the agricultural production modes and farmers' lifestyles. The digital economy empowering the new development of rural areas and agriculture industry becomes the general trend and will accelerate the implementation of the national rural revitalization strategy that requires the in-depth and wide participation from the digital economy companies. It is hoped that all digital economy companies could join in and support the rural vitalization combining their own business and leveraging their own advantages.", said Mr. HE Guili, Vice President of ISC.

Representatives from the National Rural Revitalization Administration, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, Peking University, "China Rural Revitalization" Magazine, Bytedance, JD, DiDi Chuxing, Kuaishou, 100.me, Xiaozhu.com were invited to shared the experience of helping rural revitalization and the feasibility plan in the exploration work.
