Internet Society of China (ISC) had won the title of 'National Advanced Folk Organization' awarded by Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC (MCA) at the Great Hall of the People on December 10th. There were 500 folk organizations winning this title, 84 of which were nationwide. It was the first time to honor the outstanding folk organizations in the country since the foundation of PRC. Vice-chairman of National People's Congress Simayi·Amaiti, Ms. He Luli and vice-chairman of National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Luo Haocai, Abulaiti·Abudurexi attended the honor ceremony and awarded the title for the winners. Vice-minister Ms. Jiang Li presided over the meeting and announced the list of winners. With more than 500 people in all, the officials from supervised departments of nationwide organizations and representatives from provincial, autonomous regional, municipal civil affairs departments and the winners participated the awarding meeting.

In the ongoing meeting, the minister of MCA launched a speech in which he presented a high prize to the active roles played by the folk organizations and figured out the problems, challenges, guidelines and strategy in their future development. He also expressed his definite requests and expectation to the folk organizations and civil affairs departments of all level.

Vice-chairman of ISC Gao Xinmin attended the awarding meeting as the representative of ISC.
